[Ebook] ⚐ Dancer of the Nile ♙ Franzbielmeier.de

fun adventureStepped outside my comfort zone here with Egyptian history, didn t realize it had so much paranormal influence with the Egyptian gods Interesting But really, just a well written, fast paced story of escape and a race to save Egypt Sexy, but not overly so. 3.5 4 starsThis was a pleasant surprise There was a lot of action and some romance and some supernatural stuff going on in here And let s not forget that it was set in Egypt in 650BC How often do you find romance books about that time period Not often, I ll tell you I m definitely going to have to go back and read the others in this series ARC provided by the publisher via Netgalley [Ebook] ♘ Dancer of the Nile ♷ Egypt, BCENima S Beauty And Skill As A Dancer Leads An Infatuated Enemy To Kidnap Her After Destroying An Egyptian Border Town However, She S Not The Only Hostage In The Enemy Camp Kamin, An Egyptian Soldier On A Secret Mission For Pharaoh, Has Been Taken As Well Working Together To Escape, The Two Of Them Embark On A Desperate Quest Across The Desert To Carry Word Of The Enemy S Invasion Plans To Pharaoh S PeopleAs They Flee For Their Lives, These Two Strangers Thrown Together By Misfortune Have To Trust In Each Other To Survive Nima Suspects Kamin Is Than The Simple Soldier He Seems, But She Finds It Hard To Resist The Effect He Has On Her Heart Kamin Has A Duty To His Pharaoh To See His Mission Completed, But This Clever And Courageous Dancer Is Claiming Of His Loyalty And Love By The Moment Kamin Starts To Worry, If It Comes To A Choice Between Saving Egypt Or Saving Nima S Life What Will He Do Aided By The Egyptian God Horus And The Snake Goddess Renenutet, Beset By The Enemy S Black Magic, Can Nima And Kamin Evade The Enemy And Reach The Safety Of The Nile In Time To Foil The Planned Attack Can There Ever Be A Happy Future Together For The Humble Dancer And The Brave Egyptian Soldier Who Is So Much Than He Seems I came across Veronica Scott s The Gods of Egypt series via Bookbub s daily list of books This was a free book and given the story was set in Ancient Egypt, I was immediately interested I did not realize until after I read the novel that this story was the third in the series, however that really did not matter since each story stand alone This story is about a dancer and a soldier who were captured separately, but are held prisoner by a group of enemy that is headed back to a secret stronghold The dancer shows the soldier compassion and soon their paths are intertwined Scott weaves romance into this mainly adventure mystery story with a healthy dose of Ancient Egyptian mythology Scott balanced the story between the three genres and created a very enjoyable story with worthwhile characters that readers want to follow I have since read the first shorter novel in the series, but I m glad I read Dancer of the Nile first I think it is a solid, blended genre story as well as being a good length. Entertaining enjoyable I liked the strong female character who didn t sit back and rely on the hunky soldier to save her but actually got off her backside and saved the day herself on than one occasion I ve seen other reviews for this that moan about it not being believable Well, when the book description clearly says Aided by the Egyptian god Horus and the Snake Goddess Renenutet, beset by the enemy s black magic then unless you actually believe in this stuff, of course it stretches credulity I enjoyed it, and if you re prepared to accept that it s a work of historical fantasy and not 100% historically accurate, then you might too. The story was good, butThis story was good, but there was a very detailed sex scene and some other sexual references throughout the story Despite this, the story was very engaging and the characters were well developed and drew you into the story.I received this book free from one of the book subscription emails. I really enjoyed Dancer of the Nile For me it ticked all the boxes exciting, romantic, adventous, mythological, and magical.Nima was an interesting female character She was brave and quick thinking It s so nice to see the woman save the man for a change view spoiler Ok yes Kamin saved her at the end, but it balanced out hide spoiler Fantastic story Besides a great romance and adventure, this book gives the reader enough mythological background to enjoy the book without being intrusive I really enjoyed learning about Egyptian myths. This historical romance, set in ancient Egypt, was an awesome surprise I enjoy finding new authors, almost as much as I enjoy rereading favorite ones Ms Scott does a fine job in telling her story of temple tavern dancer Nima and warrior spy Kamin, fellow captives of their Egyptian enemies There s romance, adventure, mythology, magic lots to love in this tale And, as an extra added bonus, it can be also read as a stand alone, which worked out just fine for me, as I hadn t read the first two books A clever, fun book, and very recommended.
